Women in AV/IT (WAVIT), the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering women in the AV, IT, and digital signage industries, will present a luncheon titled “Empowering Women in Digital Signage: Best Career Advice I’ve Ever Received.” This event will take place on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the Keynote Stage during the Digital Signage Experience (DSE).

Per a statement, the DSE explores every aspect of digital and interactive display technology. This ranges from concept and design to content and analytics. DSE is a tradeshow that offers a truly immersive experience for the fast-changing digital and interactive display industry, the organization says.

According to WAVIT, the luncheon aims to create a platform for women in the dynamic digital signage industry to connect, learn and gain inspiration. The panel discussion will thus feature accomplished women leaders and experts sharing their “recipes for success” and the guidance that propelled them to success.

Attendees will also get to enjoy a lunch buffet, the organization says. Here, they can interact, ask questions and seek advice to foster a supportive community within the digital-signage industry.

“Join us for an enriching experience! This lunch has historically been a high-point of every DSE Show with take-aways, networking, and community at the center. This year’s interactive panel will feature our “Recipes for Success”, and will include six amazing women sharing their best career advice and experiences,” says Brandy Alvarado-Miranda, founder and director of WAVIT. “We’re encouraging folks to help others by sharing their stories by recording a response in the MarketScale Studio. Or if you’re camera-shy, you can DM us on any of WAVIT’s social media platforms. Either way, we’d love to hear from you, and remember… ripples make waves!”

WAVIT says it has partnered with MarketScale to create “Recipes for Success” videos featuring women sharing their best advice. These will be showcased at the event and on their website. You can record your recipe for success video via this link. Additionally, Recipe cards will be distributed for attendees to share their experiences at the show, says WAVIT.
