Video Weekly News: Educating Your Customers, Navigating 4K Video System Design

Published: December 10, 2015

When Atrion held its first AlwaysOn Technology Symposium last month, the IT integration firm did something really important. For a day and a half, it gathered 175 of its clients, IT professionals, into a room to discuss using technology to boost business objectives and collaboration.

The conversation was open and informative, establishing Atrion as a thought leader in the field rather than attempting to sell products or services.

In this week’s edition of Video Weekly News, CI editor Tom LeBlanc has a question for you. And that is, “If you’re not educating your customers, who is?” This type of gathering is something we’d like to see more AV integrators do to get in front of their customers and really educate them. Learn more about how Atrion did just that.

In case you missed it last week, LeBlanc conducted a Commercial Integrator 3 Questions interview with David Chiappini, VP of research and development for Matrox. Chiappini says integrators should give a little extra thought to certain aspects of 4K video system design, such as connectors used and data compression. It’s worth checking out.
