MultiDyne Relocates Headquarters For Business Growth

Published: August 28, 2023

MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems has relocated its global headquarters to accommodate its growing business and changing workplace preferences. Located in the burgeoning business community of Kings Park, New York on Long Island; MultiDyne’s 15-minute move north brings modernized office facilities, hybrid meeting spaces and more to its business operations. Per a statement, this also includes a large showroom for trainings and events.

“We wanted to create a more inviting workplace that people want to come to while addressing the need for hybrid events and a healthier work/life balance,” says Frank Jachetta, CEO of MultiDyne. “This is a flexible and communal space that encourages collaboration and innovation. It will empower smarter growth strategies for MultiDyne’s business moving forward.”

To accentuate Jachetta’s latter point, the new facility will accommodate the Niagara Video business following its recent acquisition by MultiDyne. An open interior enables stronger collaboration between departments. At the same time, it provides ample dedicated spaces for MultiDyne’s sales, engineering and shipping/receiving operations, the company notes.

Main Features of New Facility

Per a statement, the showroom includes a large videowall that highlights MultiDyne’s latest products and innovations in various sectors. This includes the broadcast, commercial AV and digital cinema communities. Thus, this area is suitable as the ideal centerpiece when hosting partners and other customers. The location also features modern meeting spaces, including a state-of-the-art conference room. According to MultiDyne, these spaces incorporate modern collaboration technologies making in-person and remote attendees equal participants.

“The need to accommodate remote participants for company meetings is especially important as MultiDyne’s presence expands in other regions,” says Jesse Foster, VP of products and western US sales. “We recently opened our first EMEA office in Poland. And our new Teams collaboration infrastructures allows us to bring the EMEA operation into company meetings with greater efficiency, improving productivity. There is also greater flexibility for specific teams to meet in smaller groups, and even a production space with a green screen to produce our own corporate videos.”

The building itself is surrounded by green space, the company adds. This offers serenity to staff and visitors that want to enjoy the exterior grounds. MultiDyne says it also shares the 31,000-square-foot space with Tin Mirror Studios, a production studio with professional video, audio and editing capabilities. As a result, the two help bring some true professional camaraderie to the campus.

Jachetta also expects to host occasional industry events in the Kings Park facility, including local SMPTE chapter meetings. Per a statement, Jachetta was recently elected as secretary of the SMPTE Long Island Chapter.
