Leading into ISE 2017, Matrox has announced that Scala has certified Matrox’s C900 nine-output graphics card for use with its digital signage software.
According to Matrox, its C-Series cards enable digital signage integrators to build high-impact display walls that are reliable and easy to install.
The Matrox C900 is the world’s first single-slot PCI Express x16 graphics card that can drive nine displays at resolutions of up to 1920×1200 @60Hz per output. Matrox will be showing the C900 in action at ISE 2017 in Amsterdam, Feb. 7-10, at stand 12-E38.
Designed to power 3×3 or 9×1 video walls, C900 can deliver applications across one ultra-large desktop, making it ideal for digital signage installations in retail, corporate, entertainment, and hospitality environments.
For those installations needing a larger canvas, two Matrox C900 cards can be combined to create 6×3 or 3×6 video walls from one system, with the board-to-board framelock feature ensuring all displays are synchronized to reduce tearing.
“Now certified by Scala to drive nine displays per card, Matrox’s C900 graphics card offers a substantial canvas, meaning digital signage can be presented on a larger scale than ever before,” said Peter Cherna, chief product officer at Scala, in a news release. “Matrox continues to offer high-performance products for professional markets, and our customers benefit from the advances that Matrox has brought, and will continue to bring, to the multi-display graphics market.”
Also present at ISE, Scala will be demonstrating engaging solutions for retail at stand 8-K227.
