Just Add Power, the AV-over-IP distribution company, announced it will have its annual guitars giveaway in Booth #3333. The raffle was born eight years ago as part of the company’s mission to bring greater awareness to guitars4vets.org (G4V). Guitars for Vets is a non-profit that provides relief to struggling veterans through the healing power of music and community. This year, the company says it will donate six Epiphone acoustic guitars to the program. During the show, attendees can enter for a chance to win one of three very special electric guitars.
“There are two things that are true about Just Add Power: We rock at AV-over-IP and it’s our mission to rock at community involvement in a way that gets everyone excited,” says Taft Stricklin, chief sales officer, Just Add Power. “Guitars for Vets has an awesome mission that helps to bring the joy of music into the lives of our vets. Our raffle is our small way to include our customers in that movement.”
Impact of G4V
Founded in 2007, G4V donates guitars to veterans using music as a medium to help readjust to life after service and cope with the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Per a statement, G4V currently operates more than 80 chapters in 40 states across the U.S. It also has assistance of more than 200 volunteers nationwide.
Per a statement, Just Add Power will hold three daily giveaways of the guitars at 3 pm MT. Here, CEDIA Expo attendees can enter at the booth for a chance to win one Jackson Monarkh guitar, an ESP LTD EC-256FM electric guitar or Fender Player Stratocaster. To win, attendees must be at the Just Add Power booth in person when their name is called.
CEDIA Expo 2024, co-located with Commercial Integrator Expo 2024, will take place in Denver, Colo., from September 5 to 7, 2024.
