Epiphan Video, the Palo Alto, Calif.-based provider of video capture, streaming, and recording products, has announced the appointment of Tobi Tungl as Vice President of Sales, North America.
The appointment comes during a period of growth for the company, per a statement. The company is known for its Pearl video production systems and Epiphan Cloud, a remote production and management platform for Epiphan devices.
“I’m excited to be stepping into this role at a time of unprecedented growth and opportunity in our industry and for this company,” says Tungl. “Getting to lead a highly experienced sales team and then continue to add strategies and action plans to meet acquisition and growth objectives, that’s why I get out of bed every day.”
Tungl brings a breadth of executive sales and AV industry experience, deep technical expertise and an innate passion for technology, says the company. Epiphan Video hopes to launch brand-new business lines and seize market share in the coming years.

Before Epiphan, Tungl was regional vice president at Conference Technologies, Inc., which specializes in AV and IT integration. As a board member of the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) Education Foundation, Tungl helps shape the next generation of AV professionals through outreach, mentorship, and other initiatives.
Tungl holds several technology certifications including Certified Technology Specialist – Design (CTS-D) from AVIXA, and Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification from Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI).
