AVPro Global Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Founded in October 2014, AVPro says it develops unique solutions through engineering and manufacturing practices, delivering many first-to-market innovations under the vision of founder and CEO, Jeff Murray.

  • 2016: Release of AVPro AC-MX88-AUHD, the 18 Gbps 8×8 HDMI Matrix Switcher.
  • 2017: Launch of 18 Gbps HDMI extension set featuring ICT — Invisible Compression. Technology — that eliminates visible picture-inhibiting HDMI transmission artifacts.
  • 2019: Bullet Train introduces 10K-compatible Active Optical Cables.
  • 2020: Murideo launches the SEVEN Generator, an HDMI 2.1 reference-grade test instrument co-developed with Dolby Laboratories, designed to give manufacturers a single device for product development and HDMI 2.1 video/ Dolby audio codec performance verification.
  • 2021: AVPro Edge introduces the AC-MX-42X, the 8K 4×2 HDMI Matrix Switcher.
  • 2023: AVPro announces acquisition of the home components division of Seattle-based AudioControl, manufacturer of DSP-driven audio matrix distribution amplifiers and immersive audio home theater processors.
  • 2023: AVPro completes acquisition of ThenAudio, a boutique craft manufacturer of HDMI interface solutions designed to integrate usable legacy HDMI products with current HDMI 2.1-spec devices.
