Artificial intelligence (AI) is arguably the biggest buzzword of the year. However, the biggest challenge — and opportunity — for integrators is finding the right use case for implementing AI as part of their solutions. With this in mind, the Content Advisory Committee of Commercial Integrator Expo (CIX Expo) carefully curated AI sessions for attendees who will be present at the second annual trade show event.
CIX 2024, co-located with CEDIA Expo, will be held from Sept. 5 to 7, 2024 at Denver, Colo. The conference program will take place from Sept. 4 to 6, 2024.
The show aims to bring about the most comprehensive gathering of industry professionals looking to discover new products, build new relationships and gain valuable industry insights.

AI In Collaboration Systems
Machine learning generative AI and meeting summary engines are now being incorporated into collaboration systems and ChatGPT, Google Gemini and others. Here, the applications help speed up documentation across all disciplines. In the session, attendees learn how to prepare to manage and interface with these technologies as part of their projects. This presentation will thus include: How AI works in Collaboration Platforms Comparing and contrasting the various offerings from Zoom, Microsoft, Google, Webex and others.

Space Planning in the Era of Hybrid Work: Integrating AI, Collaboration Spaces and Mobility
This presentation will cover technology trends shaping space planning decisions, such as the impact of hybrid work on digital and physical workplace strategies. The session will also examine traditional and the latest generation meeting spaces, along with how artificial intelligence (AI) is contributing to productivity. Moreover, attendees will learn how to plan spaces to reinforce the effectiveness of collaboration throughout the office.
Other learning objectives include identifying the most important audiovisual and physical space elements that influence planning decisions across all types of collaboration spaces. Attendees will understand how hybrid mobility fits into office space planning and create office spaces that respond to the unique collaboration requirements of today’s workforce. Furthermore, the session will cover the ways that AI is impacting workplace designs and how to enhance the effectiveness of AI productivity tools throughout the facility.

Everything You Need to Know About Building Esports Venues
Alongside the AI sessions at CIX 2024, the program includes sessions on other emerging trends.
Building an Esports venue is like designing three different AV systems to be used in the same room at the same time. For attendees in the business of esports (or want to be), this session is a must-see! In the session, attendees will get to discuss what design considerations should be addressed to make sure players, coaches, participants and broadcasters have a venue they love and make for better competition. In addition to this, they will be able to consider and address how those decisions change when Esports is academic, communally played or competing in a stadium environment. This session will also address the roles of neurodiversity, acoustics, ADA challenges and more.

Location of Sessions
The Commercial Integrator Expo will share meeting space for its conference program and manufacturer product training (MPT) sessions at the Colorado Convention Center and adjacent hotels right along with CEDIA Expo. The Colorado Convention Center exhibit hall has room to accommodate growth of the two shows together.
