BenQ’s RP02 Series interactive flat panels (IFP) “offer safety, security and simplicity and are designed to build an engaging and healthy teaching and learning environment,” according to a company announcement that the new series will be available next month.
Installed with proficient cloud features including cloud whiteboard, the RP02 “enhances class preparation, participation and fosters collaboration beyond locations and platforms,” according to the BenQ announcement.
The smart IFP is “packed with advanced air-quality sensors, a germ-resistant screen and EyeCare solutions, allowing students to learn and be engaged while staying healthy,” the announcement says.
RP02 is “the ultimate interactive display to connect the entire class for a smooth, fun teaching and learning experience,” according to the BenQ announcement.
The RP02 Series features BenQ’s Smart EyeCare technology, which intuitively protects users while working at the screen with the help of the embedded motion sensor.
These sensors automatically activate Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light features by detecting the movement of users close to the screen. It also incorporates an air-quality sensor to monitor carbon-dioxide in the room as well as humidity and temperature.
Finally, the TUV- and SIAA-certified germ-resistant screen kills most germs accumulating on the screen and prevents cross-infection or epidemics even after cleaning and prolonged use. For ease of connectivity, BenQ added a front I/O port with USB-C and NFC reader.
It also features an 8-array microphone for speech enhancement and noise cancellation as well as an 15W subwoofer base.

The BenQ RP02 Series “allows teachers to tailor curriculum quickly to specific student needs without complicated system setups, cables or workflows,” according to the company announcement.
The RP02 features new tools and functions built into the IFP, including BenQ’s EZWrite 5, an annotation solution for interactive and collaborative classroom scenarios. It features cloud whiteboard capabilities that allow users to interact with the screen from their mobile device.
Educators also can speed up accessing EZ Write 5 with a simple tap of the IFP’s NFC sensor.
The BenQ RP02 IFP “was designed to make the collaborative, digital classroom incredibly simple for teachers while making learning exciting for students,” according to the company announcement.
“With the ability to support two operating systems at the same time as well as split windows for multitasking, teachers can easily drive a dynamic classroom by allowing students to work on different tasks at the same time, or they can display a concept portrayed in different ways side by side” the company announcement says.
Teachers “can easily share a wide range of content, from text to video and pictures, in 4K UHD resolution,” according to the BenQ announcement. “Content pops off the screen without dimming the lights, which make it harder for kids to concentrate.”
