AV integration once again muscled its way on the annual Inc 5000, released earlier this week, with a handful of companies you already know—or should get to know—earning their way to be among the fastest-growing privately held firms in the country across a variety of sectors.
That means you won’t see most of the AV industry’s largest firms on the Inc 5000, although there’s at least one that longtime CI readers have probably seen a few times since 2016 that’s once again part of the highly anticipated and hotly contested list.
Neurilink became a first-time member of the Inc. 5000, joining the 2020 edition at #1261 after 355 percent growth in the last three years. The Boise, Idaho, AV integrator is no stranger to prestigious accolades, though, having earned a spot on the 2019 CI Fast-Growing Firms and PSNI Best Place to Work honors in 2017.

Felix Media Solutions is part of the Inc. 5000 for the second consecutive year, with 170 percent growth in the last three years good enough for #2427 on the list.
Diversified is certainly no stranger to honors on the CI landscape and this year our 2016 Integrator of the Year earned its fifth consecutive trip to the Inc 5000, this year coming in at #3260 with 116 percent growth in past three years.
That steady growth in since 2016 briefly made Diversified the first AV integrator to reach the $1 billion revenue mark earlier this year. The company’s aggressive approach to mergers and acquisitions and organic growth seem to leave Diversified poised to be part of the Inc 5000 for the foreseeable future.
Cenero isn’t the flashiest company across the AV integration landscape but they’re certainly doing something right as they too have been part of the Inc 5000 for the last five years, this year coming in at #4870 thanks to 58 percent in the past three years.
Overall, this is the seventh time Cenero has been part of the Inc 5000, dating back to the first time in 2009.
