The Laguna Playhouse may be one of the oldest continuously operating, not-for-profit theaters on the West Coast, but with its recent Elite projection screen installation, the 96-year-old theater certainly isn’t showing its age.
Featured as a center-stage attraction for nightly performances, meetings and other events, the ezFrame R200WV1 200″ projection screen stands 120″ high and 144″ wide.

Although designed for fixed wall home or business applications, the Laguna Playhouse developed a new purpose for the ezFrame projection screen by leveraging a wheeled upright stand to create an “on-the-spot” projection surface.
“I would recommend this screen to anyone who needs a big, light, beautiful projection surface; we’ve used the screen for everything from city council meetings to youth theater productions to Laguna Dance and the Laguna Beach Concert Band,” says Jim Prodger, operations director for the Laguna Playhouse, in an Elite Screens news release.
The ezFrame R200WV1 features Elite’s Cinegrey 1.1 gain matte white material and a durable frame with adjustable wall mounts. The Cinewhite material is 4K Ultra HD and Active 3D ready.
