In 2024, the Central Academy of Drama, China’s first theatre college, took a significant step towards modernizing its campus communication. Located in the Changping district of Beijing, the Academy invested in two high-definition LED screens to support its aim of creating a more connected and informed campus environment. One LED screen, part of INFiLED’s DB series, was strategically installed in the lobby of a prominent learning and teaching building, while the other, a QM series screen, was positioned near the premix room to enhance visibility in key areas.
This investment is a core element of the Academy’s new digital communication strategy. Beyond providing vital real-time updates on campus events, the screens also serve as a platform to display the institution’s cultural film productions, showcasing the rich artistic talent nurtured within its walls.

The lobby screen, measuring 188 square feet (17.5 square meters) and possessing a pixel pitch of only 2.6mm, demonstrated clarity in content presentation. Additionally, it boasts a high contrast ratio of 5000:1 and 14-bit greyscale, enabling the display of vibrant and smooth colors. With its high-definition capabilities and precise color rendering, the screen significantly contributed to disseminating the campus’s essential promotional message.
The other display boasts a resolution of 1920*1080 and impressive color accuracy, featuring a high refresh rate of 3840Hz that delivers videos and images with exceptional color richness and a broad color gamut. Moreover, it is easy to set up, and putting it together is a breeze since each cabinet weighs just 10 lbs (4.9kg).
The screen is 37mm thick with a stable floating bracket, which not only conserves space but also enhances the aesthetic appeal when mounted on the wall.
