Salamander Designs is adding the newly-launched, curved Arc Table to its Commercial Design tool. Salamander Designs, is, of course, the Bloomfield, Conn. manufacturer of furniture for residential and commercial AV technology for 30 years. The company is also known for its online virtual furniture creation tool.
Per a statement, Salamander Designs Arc Table modular conference system is optimized for enhanced collaboration between in-house and remote meeting participants. The unique curved semi-circle shape and flexible configuration options sets the stage for the most natural, inclusive site-to-site viewing experiences where every participant can be equally seen, heard and fully engage, says the company. This new arrangement creates a complete sense of inclusivity in hybrid settings, no matter where members are — in the room or in a remote location.
Salamander Designs’ Commercial Designer 3D Online Platform
The real-time Commercial Designer is an interactive, 3D online platform that provides integrators and representatives everything they need to design, size, price and quote custom cabinets. The Designer tool integrates into Salamander Designs’ internal systems for manufacturing of build-to-order furniture. The platform empowers integrators to virtually collaborate with all stakeholders including architects, planners, IT teams and customers — at any time, and immediately and visually solidify all design decisions.

The Commercial Cabinet Designer also automatically generates consumer-facing sales documentation for the integration company and factory-facing work instructions with visual aids to improve quality, efficiency and client satisfaction.

According to the company, Salamander Designs was born out of collaboration with Microsoft during the original development of the Arc Table and Signature Teams Rooms. The goal, according to Salamander Designs, was to deliver a powerful, turnkey bundle that could connect stakeholders around the world in a more natural way.
For this offering, Salamander Designs and Microsoft included essential technology along with the Arc such as Jupiter Systems 21:9 display, a camera, audio and Crestron control. With simplified deployment, any business can achieve more equitable experiences, says Salamander Designs. Per a statement, the Arc Table is now available in multiple configurations through all authorized Salamander integrators and partners.
