D-Tools Inc. is previewing “a major new release of its flagship software platform, System Integrator 2016,” at Integrated Systems Europe 2016 (Custom Home Europe stand 1-P58).
System Integrator 2016 will be available in the first quarter of this year and it follows the recent Top New Technology award earned by the 2015 version.
SI 2016 “adds valuable new productivity features and enhancements that enable residential and commercial AV integrators to streamline business processes and increase profitability,” according to the D-Tools press release. SI 2016 will be available as an upgrade for existing customers and will be provided at no cost for customers participating in the D-Tools Software Assurance program.

Building upon the architecture of the System Integrator platform including a robust D-Tools Cloud infrastructure, SI 2016 makes it faster and easier than ever to perform key functions of an integrator’s business—estimation, system design, and project management. Moreover, SI 2016 offers improvements in virtually every functional area including project and data management, integration with SupplyStream and QuickBooks Online, Purchase Requests, as well as significant improvements to the current Change Order capabilities.

D-Tools also recently launched a professional services group, which officials say is “aimed at facilitating customer success and driving deeper adoption of the D-Tools System Integrator (SI) platform through the delivery of value-added implementation, training, and third-party software integration services.” The PSG is staffed and servicing accounts now.
The D-Tools Professional Services will initially support residential and commercial AV, but will extend its reach to other industries over time. The Professional Services Group employs team members on both the east and west coast, making them accessible for either online or on-site services in any time zone in North America.
The D-Tools PSG will also support the company’s planned move into the enterprise space in 2017.
