Arcstream installs interactive floor system at iconic children’s hospital

Interactive technology specialist Arcstream AV has released details of an interactive floor installation in the newly revamped reception area at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London.

The new-look area sports a seascape theme, so Arcstream has created an installation that resembles a rock pool. To achieve this, the company selected a 6K Christie LX605 projector and an InteraX software, server and IR tracking system.

On a related note, the company has also provided an interactive floor and touchscreen table to Step by Step, a London-based school for autistic children. Both of these take advantage of the feature-set of Snowflake ABC educational software.

Neil Dickinson, managing director of Arcstream AV, comments: “We have masses of experience in creating interactive floors for all kinds of uses from corporate events to education. They’re incredibly absorbing and the content creation experts at Arcstream can develop just the right experience for businesses and their clients.”
