Demand for Video Walls Evolves Video walls have been around for some time now, but they are getting bigger and better. With three main options (four, if you count LED) that include LCD monitors, Christie’s Micro Tiles and the LPD displays from Prysm, integrators can get really creative with quirky configurations and content. The goal is to get noticed where there are already a large number of standard digital signage screens out there and screen fatigue is becoming an issue. Screens are one thing, but you are still going to need a media player with a graphics solution that can handle and manage the content at these extended resolutions. This is why it’s no surprise to see a number of graphics card manufactures also making an appearance at the show. What is exciting is that some of these big video walls are also interactive and this provides a tremendous immersive platform regardless of application.
