About five years ago, digital signage was considered more or less a retail and hospitality application. Now, however, digital signage is in nearly every market commercial integrators work in.

With such a large range of applications in various different markets, digital signage provides ample opportunities for both integrators and manufacturers.

Garry Wicka, LG‘s B2B senior director of marketing for commercial displays, says integrators need to not only look at the traditional areas for digital signage application, such as installing a display on a front wall in a lobby, but also focus on opportunities in schools, such as menu board displays, and transporation markets, such as wayfinding.
