Almo Pro A/V: Installation as a Service?

Published: 2014-11-20

The good news is the AV business is booming. The bad news is that the AV business is booming.

A recent InfoComm International study projected that AV products and services will become a $114 billion global industry by 2016. The study finds that the audiovisual industry currently generates $92 billion a year and that further industry growth is anticipated beyond 2016.

While the bounce back from a few rough years is definitely exciting for our industry, many integrators are having a hard time keeping up.

For example, hiring and training new employees is a long and costly process. Having reliable labor to source for a job that isn’t near an integrator’s office can make the difference between accepting and turning down the business. And what if there’s a large job opportunity throughout the U.S. in areas where the integrator doesn’t have offices?

FEATURED REPORT

Commercial Integrator offers a white paper called “Opportunities, Challenges of Third Party Labor” that goes in-depth about these very issues.

Further, to help combat these “good problems,” last month, Almo Pro A/V became the first distributor to offer a full line of Installation Services designed to help augment, customize or complete a project.

Almo Installation Services help integrators and installers improve customer service, reduce payroll and recruiting expenses, increase the ability to take on more projects, reduce travel and maintenance and grow their services revenue. Best of all, services from a trusted name in the industry gives integrators the ability to say “yes!” to new jobs.

Now that’s some pretty good news.
